You'll notice on the site I provided, they can supply the cases sans foam as
an option. I considered this when buying the cases for myself - but I
couldn't find any cheap sources for suitable foam, and after tossing other
ideas around like foam mat (like camping mats that go under your sleeping
bag) etc I dismissed it altogether and ordered them with the foam. You'll be
very lucky just to find gray foam anywhere - let alone at the price and
composition you want it. But good luck!

I do not need the cases, but does anybody have a cheap source for the
cutout foam for this style of case. I need to get it for 4 different
ones, and the prices quoted on the site Lee provides are damn expensive.
I looked at a craft store that provides foam for upholstery today, and
all they had was white and lime green - not for my cameras, and lenses
you don't. I am not sure of the composition of the foam either. Anybody
know what the composition of the foam I am looking for. All my stuff
will go in reseal able plastic bags, so I am not particularly worried
about the fumes, but I would rather it not break down in five years
either. I would prefer it be gray.
