Wayne,
Due to pressure of work and terminal computer probs I have been
lurking rather than contibuting recently...But I could NOT let this thread
pass! This lens is one of two that I would NEVER be without - the other
being the Tamron 90mm f2.5 macro. This zoom is not the most contrasty Zuiko
lens..but I dont find a problem with this. Most of my photos are B+W and I
use ilford Multi - Grade paper + filters. The f4 aperture can be a pain in
low light situations...BUT having owned this lens for about 20 yrs it just
feels right. It has a good zoom range for travel / architecture and
landscapes. I do not really like one touch zooms. Probably not as critically
sharp as the best Zuiko primes but I can get very good 8 by 10s from it. You
will not be disappointed!
