The G40 does not support Super FP flash; it does have second-curtain sync
though.
I don't think that the iS-3000 has TTL flash, by the way; it uses a system
called Intelligent Variable Power, which basically sets the aperture based
on the focus distance, with variable flash power at close distances. if you
use the internal flash together with a G40, the internal flash is reduced
by three stops, and functions basically as a fill-in/eye highlight flash.
The combined flash system works amazingly well.
Sincerely,
Roger Key
You're correct, just checked the eSIF. What made me image that it
supported
FP ?
