Thanks - I'd have quite forgotten without the reminder. I think the
great thing about our patron saint's day is that so few people make a
big deal of it. It's good to be so self-confident as a nation that we
don't need a national day to affirm our identity!
St. George wasn't from England anyway. I'd rename April 23rd
Shakespeare Day - seems almost certain that he really was English.
