It's a cool lens, for sure. I really enjoyed it, and If I hadn't gotten
laid off 3 weeks after I had bought it, I'd have kept it. But I just
couldn't see keeping a $1,300, ultra-specialized lens when I was completely
without income with 4 hours notice on a Friday afternoon.

Well, I'm not sure how many frames I'd ever take with it if it were
perfect... but I can't see having 950f a good and relatively special lens
and not trying to get it the other 5%. It may take a few years, but I hope
eventually to find what I need to fix this one. Perhaps I'm just a
sentimental (or is that semi-mental?) Oly fool...
