No, my 308BII is an excellent meter. I use it for incident or
reflected, flash and ambient and it is very accurate. A photography
tutor I used late last year recommended it (his was a few years old,
scratched and scarred, but still worked well.
In fact I am thinking of selling my Weston Master V...

My experience with that meter was quite the contrary, and my experience with
their customer support has stopped me from buying any more of their
products. I have heard others comment the same.
I prefer Minolta meters, unusual as I don't care for their cameras one
little bit. Gossen also good, but no recent experience. Of course, then
there's Spectra...
