Yup. Got one from the mid-50's and it's still chugging along. Shows a
little age, but not much, except for a few scuffs on the never-ready
semi-hard case which is still in decent condition. Shutter speeds are
still very accurate (except 1/1250th which was never 100% accurate even
when new, but close enough to work). It was definitely designed and built
*before* the concepts of programmed obsolesence and a "throw-away society"
were widely embraced.
