Try Sunpak, at least the bigger ones. You can get them dedicated for the
specific camera, also.
Thanks, Steve Goss, Dallas Tx usa
The Sunpak 383 is a "shoe mount" auto flash and equivalent to a cross
between the Vivitar 283 and 285HV. Sturdy, reliable with GN ~125 (ISO 100,
feet) and has a sub-mini phone jack for remote trigger that disconnects the
hot shoe contacts when plugged in. New they come with a short cord with
sub-mini on one end and PC on the other; disconnecting the hot shoe when
remote cords are plugged into shoe mounts is pretty much standard among all
that have this feature. I have one and it works very well. Might be able
to get a used one at a very, very good price. New, however, the Vivitar
283 and 285HV are a better buy (lower price). Don't know how long the
Sunpak has been in production; current ones are very low trigger voltage.
