I, too, had this problem with an OM-1. During a CLA, the technician had not
properly aligned the ASA dial faceplate to the proper corresponding setting
on the potentiometer it turns. Hence, 400ASA exposed at the 200 setting,
etc. It was easily fixed at no charge by sending it back to the repair shop
(Henry's in Toronto, Canada) with a firmly worded letter. Has worked great
ever since... now if only I ever find time to get a 1.5v SO battery
conversion done on it... ;)

<PROBLEM>
My 1n underexposes at least two steps in bright light.
This I found out today comparing exposure times with another OM-1n and >a
Nikon F4. The result was comparable equal when pointing to dark >and "grey"
surfaces but when pointing to our today bright but cloudy >sky my 1n just
freaks!
