That's right. We'll be on a bus between destinations. (The tour company is
Trafalgar, for what it's worth.) If this is like the last tour we did,
there will be 1 to 2 hours of free time daily. There will be more free time
in places we'll be spending two nights (Engelbert, Zermatt, & Vienna).

No trails that I know of, but who is to say. We did a lot of walking every
day last time. I think if I'll carry a backpack I can manage okay. Last
time I would leave my backpack on the bus and just slip a couple of extra
lenses, filters, and film into my photo vest.

I couldn't think of a reason for longer lenses either.
