There is such a danger with certain versions of the Adaptall 2 mount (from
the various postings it seems uncertain exactly which marking are for sure
safe). Look for a mount that has a screwhead arrangement such that the
screwhead does not pass over the button when mounting - or - just fill the
screwhead depression with a dab of 5-minute epoxy. I did that about 3 years
ago on mine and it works just fine.
