If there's anyone looking for an AX, while surfing I located one described as 
Mint in box,  $699. I think the AX went for $1299 new, then Contax dropped 
the price to about a grand when they discontinued it. I'm tempted for the 
$699 price, but not tempted enough since I already have a Contax AF, the N1. 
If anyone is interested, contact me privately. No connection to the seller, 
just thought it was a good price.
