The 300/4.5 is just about perfect for motorsports if you can't get 'inside
the fence'. I suppose it would also be useful for wildlife, and snakes...
but I think I'd use my 600 for snakes (or maybe my Celestron C90). The Zuiko
300/4.5 is a very nice lens, but a little long for macro, unless you plan on
a tripod. Then you might as well move a little closer and use the 50, or a
135 with a tube.
