When I studied the flash distances for the T20's big brother, the T32, I
kept coming up with about 5 feet with EI 100 film. Any further away, even
with the zoom adapter, and daylight overwhelmed the strobe (electronic
flash).
I suppose you could use a T20 to "fill" a shadow from 2.8 feet or so but
would you want to?
