I've got a Sunagor 0.42x adaptor that screws onto a 49mm filter thread.
Turns my 28/2.8 into a circle frame fisheye, and my 50/1.8 into a full
frame fisheye with tiny bits at the corner chopped off. I've mostly
used it on the 28/2.8 and it seems like very acceptable quality to me.
It cost me GBP20. Here's some example shots:

It's a good fun cheap alternative to a real fisheye. Having got used to
a 0.42x adaptor I wonder if a 0.25x might be a bit extreme? I'd
recommend trying something similar though.
