YAOMIP = Yet Another OM in Print
Just brought in the mail . . .
In it was a copy of the Spring 2002 "Assets Magazine"
http://www.search-institute.org/assetmag/
[their on-line archive is about two issues behind]
published by the "Search Institute" in Minneapolis, MN:

On page 3 this photograph (cropped) was used as a graphic to go with a
"teaser" about their Indianapolis conference article:

Their magazine's art director found it searching for a suitable
Indianapolis skyline photograph and contacted me by email about its
use. That came as quite a surprise; had to read the email several times
before it sank in. The published one is from a much higher resolution
digital file than the web page contains.
Body and lens used: OM-10 with Manual Adapter and 50/1.8 F.Zuiko (single
coated). I no longer own either, but they were my first OM body and lens
bought new 22 years ago. Made the photograph during a several month period
of exclusively using 50mm lenses to "prove it's possible to do much with
little." An interesting exercise that started as a self-challenge turned
out to be worthwhile in more ways than originally envisioned. Occasionally
working within some restrictions results in more thinking about how to make
the photograph before shooting it, and forces some creativity when a 50mm
won't work with the ideas that first come to mind.
The daytime one they published gave me the idea for the ADITL 3 night shot
made almost three months later using the 35/2.8 Shift:

Purpose of the night shot: darkness hides the construction zone which is
*still* there over two years later.
