Seems to me there's a feeding frenzy in the Bay right now,
probably as a result of blood in the water from the OM throat
being cut by Olympus. My clue comes from the fact I've lost a
half dozen auctions in a row, and that wouldn't have happened
unless others were bidding more than stuff is worth, something I
never do. (Yeah, I wish.)
I got outbid on the 350/2.8 in short order, somewhat to my relief,
because I don't need another divorce! And one of us (you know who
you are) sniped me on the 38/2.8 Macro. No hard feelings,
though, 'cause I would've done the same to you, but the auction
ended right in the middle of the season premier of "Six Feet
Under" and I couldn't be bothered.
But it all seems to be a bit out of kilter at the moment, so I
think I'll just hide and watch until it all calms down. If I had
something I wanted to sell, I'd do it now. The econOMy seems to
be on the upswing.
