Despite widely distributed warnings against this, my T32 finally
arrived and I did the deplorable - broke all rules - and mated it with
a BG1. The power plugs are a perfect match, and it powered up and
flashed with the unit. I think all I need to do is tape over the shoe2
contacts on the BG1 and use a synchro-cable to the T32 and voila!
A cheaper BG1 becomes a useful device. Am I still missing
something? Will my T32 turn into a sterile "210"? Anyway, if
someone has a spare battery cover hanging around for a T32 that
they want to trade or sell, please contact me off-line. Also a Synchro
cord (that I can probably pick up on my next Euro trip). I also
snagged some really good deals in Tel Aviv: 24mmF2.8 silvernose,
and a 135mm2.8 blacknose, EX condition, with a NIB shoe 3, all for
a total of $128. Seems that there is no demand here - too bad there
isn't much supply either. There were some screens and shoes
about, though.

they can destroy a beautiful dream.
