No idea, I use them because they stand up to heat well, I'm from
Kalgoorlie Western Australia, use to do a lot of bush photography.
I would assume that the Polydimethylsiloxane would be ok, as
it is silicon based. what I will do, is to put one of the winders in
the freezer, in a airtight bag with mosture packs for a few hours,
take it out, and see how it handles (no comebacks about
condensation please).
Hmm, as I live in Melbourne, maybe I can leave it outside
for a few hours.....
