Hi folks,
A lot of times these days when I see these lenses up for auction at these
inflated prices, I wonder if I should use mine at all, and if I should use
cotton
gloves when handling it.<g>
I thank my fortune for buying one when I had the chance - and the money.
These prices get up to $1,000NZ - which is serious money. I could almost
get a used 3T for that.
By the way, my 40 f/2 does take a 1.8 lens hood. All my separate lens
hoods (except the one for the 35~105 and the other for the 35 shift) are
screw-in rubber hoods that are labelled 2/40mm, 2/85mm, 2.8/100mm; and
they also fit all 50mm lenses with 49mm diameter front, and probably the 35
etc and several of the teles/zooms, as well as my Koni-Omega 49 dia lenses.
Great value.
