I bought ONE video camera in 1995. Spent about $800 on it.
Learned my lesson. Hate video now.
Spent $2700 on my mountain bike back in 1992-93. With the
exception of a few replaceable componants, is still relatively
current. What could be upgraded needs replacing anyway.
Spent around $2300 on my road racer in 1993. Still current.
Spent around $250 on an OM-2S in 1986. Amazingly enough, it is
still worth around $250.
Bought a nearly new car in 1987 for $8500, drove it 200,000
miles. Residual value: Zero.
Bought a 12 year old Toyota truck for $3500. Sold it four years
later for something like $4500.
