Perhaps one of you who are more familiar than I am with automatic
camera specs can explain the following to me:
There is a central AF spot in the viewfinder, but the specs say:
a sophisticated five-point passive auto focus system provides
accurate focus down to 1.1 feet What exactly does that mean?
The metering seems to be a large central fairly sharp edged spot of
sensitivity but specs say:
Two-part external light meter with SPD element
What purpose is there for a two part meter, perhaps for error control?
