Dave I have a 35SP and am looking for a shade for it as well - but in my
manual it does not show a notched hood; I have looked on some web sights
that feature 35's and they show regular round shades as well. I have put
the smallest shade on mine, but the problem of the shade blocking out some
of the viewfinder is very apparent. If you come up with a solution please
post it. By the way, has anybody ever had experience with painting a
camera? My 35SP is silver and black and I bought it to shoot inside the
sanctuary of churches for a self-project of mine. The pointability and
quite shutter are great attributes, but the silver color has got to go. I
know I could just throw some paint on it or electricians tape, but I still
enjoy the athstetics of fine equipment. Anyone done this?
Thanks, Paul

Subject: [OM] RE: Lens Shade for 35SP
Fellow Zuiks,
I am looking for a notched lens shade for my 35SP. Unlike the 35RD and
similar cameras, the SP takes a 49mm shade. A conventional shade protrudes
into the viewfinder view. The literture shows a notched shade that solves
that problem. Anyone have one they would part with or know of one for sale?
Thanks, Dave Dougherty
