I may be a little late on this but, cross-processing has no effect on
the chemistry. I would be happy to do cross-processing for list

It is fun and produces great results. I can also print unmounted E-6 as
reversed prints with various effects.

Yes:
Ensure the lab *knows* you're requesting cross-processing and is willing
to
do this in their chemistry. I don't know of any "consumer" mini-labs
that
will knowingly risk contamination of their chemistry (and everyone
else's
C-41 film run through it) doing this. As with any other very special
custom processing, you will undoubtedly pay a premium fee for it.
