One of my favorite B&W films is often unfairly maligned as
very difficult to deal with -- good old Kodak Technical Pan
(TP). If you like low contrast, shoot it slow and use
Technidol. If you like high contrast, shoot it fast and use
T-MAX.

one of our cats using Tech Pan at EI400 in T-MAX, OM-4Ti,
Zuiko 50/1.4 #490---, spot metered the darkest areas on the
cat as shadows.
Tech Pan is also a good bargain for bulk loading.
