Hi Winsor, AG Schnozz
I have to agree with aggy (is this a suitable short form, your silver-noseness?
:-) ) - I have a 100/2.8 SC silver-nose and it has a unique quality.
Often when running around excavation sites or ancient ruins I am
dipping in and out of my bag for the 28, 35-80, 100 and 180 and
sometimes others, and don't keep track of what I've taken with what.
When the slides come back, I can usually spot the 100/2.8 pics, and
on the rare occasions I take notes, I am usually right. My lens does
have a "certain something".
This dosn't stop me from lusting after a 100/2, but I do appreciate
the qualities of the 100/2.8 SC
Oh, and it looks cool too.....
Cheers
Pete
