Like Olaf, I also have an OM-40/PC that I am very pleased with (more than
12 years by now). I bought it to replace an old Olympus P&S camera that
was dying. It also has a slight light leak that I fixed by buying
a Olympus ever-ready case for it. I have since passed the camera on to
my son, who uses it a lot more than I do. But overall, I am very pleased
with the features for the price, and it is very easy for a beginner to
use, almost like a point-and-shoot.
