While I also generally agree with Bob, he has a very low opinion of the
the OM line. It just goes to show that we can't all agree on
everything.

This is sad to read. Dr. Maitani and his staff completely changed the
course of photographic history in the 70s when they introduced the OM-1
at a time when all the competition was making big, heavy cameras. The
competitors were caught by surprise and had to scramble to downsize their
cameras. This is the poor end to a proud dynasty.
But Olympus may do it all over again. This year they are introducing a
digital SLR with interchangable lenses, and it will once again be much
smaller and lighter than all the competition.
