I have found the 50/1.4 ideal for viewing slides. I look thru from the
rear. The edge of the lens mount touches the slide and everything is in
proper focus with no side lite on the slide frame. Covers the whole frame.
The 1.8 I have to hover about 5mm above the slide.
Now to try the other lenses. The 21 should give me an enlargement....
