For shooting musicians playing in the available light of a dimly lit
pub or club, a monopod is a boon, even with a 28mm. Maybe I'm just
getting the shakes in my old age, but even with the mechanical butterfly
wing that is the leaf shutter of a 35RD I get better results using a
monopod.
