Bill,
1. Does the battery check light up, and is it steady?
New batteries in place.
2. Is the mirror in viewing position, or is the mirror locked up?
The mirror is locked up.
3. Have you tried switching the camera to the "B" position?
Yes. No dice....

Too bad as this particular OM2n is in pretty good cosmetic shape...
