Tom slipped an important point in with his posting. It's very, very easy
to forget about reciprocity failure. With color negative films their
latitude may keep overall negative density acceptable, however color shift
is also common (when the color layers suffer reciprocity failure
differently). I recommend checking the desired film(s) data sheet(s) if
exposure is anticipated to be longer than 1 second. Definitely check the
data sheet if anticipating exposures of 10 seconds or longer!
