Certainly the opposite of Gary Reese's test results
(http://members.aol.com/olympusom/lenstests/default.htm). Where he has a
direct comparison with the same lens on different bodies, the body with
mirror and diaphram prefire using the self timer (OM-2S, 4, 2000)
consistently outperformed the OM-1 with mirror lock-up alone. There has
been some good discussion of the vibration issue in the last few days;
check the digests.

There was an article I read a long time ago, that compared I think the OM-4
with the OM-1, same subject matter, same lens, but OM-1 with the mirror
locked up.. and it said that the picture from the OM-1 with mirror lockup
was sharper..
If anybody knows what article I'm talking about, a link would be greatly
appreciated!
Thanks.
