I've been wondering if any of our members from Oz have been getting pictures
of the fires. I was tempted to go to Yellowstone when it was on fire but
resisted the urge. Hunting for pics of the browned skin is probably more
rewarding for the Aussies. /jim

Subject: [OM] Xtreme photos
Hello fellow photographers,
Now is the season for extreme photo opportunities.
According to the TV (which, despite my protestations to the contrary I
sometimes watch briefly - mainly "news"), there has been - maybe still are -
fluffy snowstorms in the NE USA; pictures of mobile scoops acting in lieu of
snowploughs, powder-snow falling on windscreens faster than wipers can
shift it. And who knows what else.
In Australia, that land across the Tasman, bush fires rage - sending smoke
and sparks across wide areas. Bush fires in Afghanistan ... ... ... (joke).
Thunderstorms here that I missed.
Sun-burned skin - - (not mine).
Lots of opportunities.
Brian
