I recently bought an OM-1n on *Bay that has the opposite problem. The
rewind button will not stay set to rewind; you have to hold it, or it
springs back. I was thinking of having it fixed, but perhaps I should let
it stay as it is, at least until a CLA! The problem was reported by the
seller, I should add.
Roger Key
: Well the rewind button is supposed to return to its normal position when
you
: operate the wind lever.

: Hans, that is the problem, ALL OM's after the OM1 & OM2 will reset the
film
: rewind knob automatically, the OM1 & OM2 do not.
My OM-1 and OM-2n do. I know there are a 1/2's around that don't; maybe
John
or Clint can tell if it can be fixed and for how much.
