[OM] PC?

>From time to time on this list and elsewhere, I see references to "PC".  
In some cases, like the shift lenses and Photoshop I'd gather it means
"perspective control".   As to the "OMPC", though, what does it mean? 
Aside from "politically correct", are there other uses of the term?
