Hey, good luck Tom. Hope all goes well for you. Spent a week in Florida in
January this year (with work) and loved it !
Was a bit of a shock tho. Went to Indiana in the previous November (work
again) and weather was pretty much like UK at that time of year - cold and
wet. So when I left Heathrow airport in January with a couple of inches of
snow on the ground, I took my thermals, jumpers, coat, scarf, gloves, etc.
Landed in Miami en-route to Orlando and nearly died when I stepped onto the
tarmac in my thick coat !!! 26 degrees in the shade !!!! Bought shorts and
t-shirt on first day there !
Oh well, I know I should have thought about it more. Never thought that the
climate could vary so much across a country !! Won't be making that mistake
again. Anyway, you should be used to it, coming from Texas area (the same
trip to Orlando continued on to Vegas for a few days - now that was an
experience I would not have missed for anything !)
I hope you enjoy your new job and home, and the zuiko's have a safe journey.
Watch out for that fungus ...
Jon

House hunting trip in a week (ok, and Disney World) then pack up and move.
All those Zuikos to move.
