So sorry to hear of your plight. Please don't hold it against us
Washingtonians in general. Grief, I live in unincorporated King County
right between Kirkland and Bothell.
I guess I've been overwhelmingly lucky. I'm a little over 50 buys on the
evil one, and have yet to be burned.
My wife and I actually bought a baby grand piano off the bay back in July.
It's set to be delivered tomorrow morning. That's roughly five months, in
case you're counting. Seller's 18 YO son was diagnosed with stomach cancer
just about coincidentally with the close of the auction for this piano.
Sort of put the sellers (a delightful couple who are antique dealers in New
Hampshire) in a tail-spin. It's this couple's other offspring (a daughter
who happens to be a long haul trucker) is the person delivering the piano.
My wife and I have had a few anxious moments over this transaction, but a
few anxious moments over a 'thing' pale in comparison to the thought of one
of our children fighting cancer.
I'm not trying to trivialize or minimize your plight, John, just put a
little perspective on it perhaps.
Jim
PS I live about two miles from the Bothell Police station if there's
anything I can do.
