One interseting fringe benefit to a digital-specific lens mount is that
they could set things up so that when there's no lens on the body, the
opening at the front of the camera is sealed off. You'd need a secondary
diaphragm behind the mount (or somesuch) which was opened when a lens is
mounted, but that would solve the dust-on-the-CCD issue very nicely.
