Pretty decent; not razor-sharp, but you're right, it's better than those
show.

Things to bear in mind when looking at that: 1. cheapo ISO 400 film. 2.
$1.99 Great Canadian Superstore processing. 3. cheapo flatbed scanner.
Now that I think about it, I do have some slide taken with that lens, but
none of them are particularly good for evaluating resolution, and I don't
have a slide scanner. I'll take a look when I get home, though; I'm curious
to compare now.
