Strictly speaking, this is not true. Maitani & Olympus could have made the
Olympus camera body EVEN SMALLER. However, the human interface became the
limiting factor. One can make buttons, dials, levers, etc. only so small
before they become too uncomfortable to use reliably.
and yet they didn't
skimp on quality nor did they price their cameras
outside of the normal person's price range for such a
camera.
Long live Mount Olympus! ;-)
