Take the pouch out an hour or two before you want to use the film.
Alternately, pick one roll out of the pouch, put it in your armpit, hug
yourself and dance around until the cold goes away.
Letting it thaw long enough is *very* important. Your film *will* be
"fogged" by condesation if you don't. The results of shooting film with a
fog of condensation on it are hideous, not to mention the introduction of
moisture throughout the entire film transport. Refrigerated: 45 minutes
minimum; Freezer: 2 hours minimum.
I leave the film in the plastic cannisters and put them inside a [properly
burped] Tupperware container. A Rubbermaid or some other brand that seals
very tightly would also work.
Guaranteed you will dance around if, instead of your armpit, you put the
film . . . ummmmm, never mind.

Who put a frozen roll (still in cannister) in his pants pocket once, and
very quickly moved it to a shirt pocket.
