I found it at TriState Camera for $259. Refurbished Printers Online had
them for $250, but are currently out of stock and they indicated they
don't know if and when they will be able to get any more from Epson.

We have a 1280. From what I read though, that's not much reason to get

latest 1280 if you can find a 1270.
Where did you find yours? I may get one and convert it for B&W uses...
