As well as my Olympus equipment, I have a Bronica S2a 6x6 medium format
camera. Many things are good about the camera, but the ammount of shutter
vibration is not. While looking at, and printing negatives last night, I
was wondering what ways there were to reduce vibration, and how important
the type of tripod is....
I have a small Gitzo tripod, and a much larger, heavier Tilt-all. Besides
for things like sandbags, etc.... Just how important is the material that a
tripod is made of.
Has anyone read about wood vs. metal for reducing vibrations, etc.?
I try to reduce the mirror slap by supporting the camera with my hands, but
I'm looking for more ideas......
Any ideas would help,
James.
