No, assuming you define "standard metal" as brass.  "T" and "Ti" both 
indicate Titanium top and bottom caps.  They're the same, except for the 
"i" in the model designation.  The OM-4 has brass top and bottom caps and 
is the predecessor to the OM-4T[i].
