Dead Alive? Don't know that one.
'Brain Dead' and 'Meet the Feebles' are my favorites in the early oevre.
'Heavenly Creatures' is the best of the 'straight' movies. I'm in a small
social group called the 'Beer, Film and Curry Appreciation Society' (Annual
Award - the Oliver Reed Memorial Cup) and we had a Peter Jackson
retrospective recently. Several members required trauma counselling
afterwards.

In today's newspaper there was a story about how he used a TV studio for
one of his "slash and splash" films. The studio is now used for some game
show, and supposedly if you look up at the ceiling, there's still splatters
of red on it from when he made the movie. It's getting good reviews in the
papers I've seen, although not recommended for small children.
