Curtis,
Without knowing the scene you were recording, I think that (almost)
point-source lights don't make a good test for low-light TTL. The camera's
exposure system can pay way too much attention to tiny, bright sources of
light.
For a better check of low-light capability, shoot a subject that reflects
light and takes up alot of space in the viewfinder. My 2S does a fine job
in this situation, but I have to overexpose by at least 2 stops when there
are lots of lights in the scene, as in cityscapes, etc.
