If I recall from previous posts (probably John H.
before my hard drive crashed), the wiring under the
top cover is delicate and complicated. If a wire comes
loose from it's solder point, it would take someone
very familiar with the circuitry to replace it.
OTOH, a well-worn OM-4T is a proud badge to show off
one of the best cameras ever.
