Ralf -- If you can get it fixed for less that ~$300, then you are *way*
ahead on the price. A good 'user' 18/3.5 would probably be $500, and a
really clean 'mint' one easily $700... I think a full CLA maybe would only
be $100 or so, I'd go for that. Solves all the possible problems and you
don't wonder about it after that. Congrats on getting a great lens, I love
the ultra-wide angles, and that's one of the best!
