Thanks to Olafo for bearing with me. My TOPE 7 "Wanna-Be's" that were
considered for submission are posted them here:
http://johnlind.tripod.com/tope7/
There is a range of events including some night "street shooting" which
turned out to be a very interesting experience. I had never done that
before; at least not to the extent I did that night. Since there has been
some discussion recently about the 18/3.5 Zuiko, a couple were shot using
one (along with a 50/1.2, 85/2 and 35-105/3.5~4.5). It's a superb lens;
very rectilinear with zero detectable barrel or pincushion distortion. A
tripod is highly recommended as it can be difficult to hold the horizon
dead level just looking through the viewfinder.
Also used something other than Kodachrome for a few of them (gasp!).
Critiques/comments (as always) are welcome.
Thanks to Olafo for bearing with me. I've been traveling quite a bit
recently and Kodak managed to lose three 36-frame rolls of Kodachrome in
succession starting in early October (with frames from late
September). Two have finally been found (one of them after five weeks),
but a third one spanning the last three weeks of October is still missing. :-(

Hah!
So much for saying that I wouldn't allow further TOPE 7 entries anymore...
Here's the story, quite a few weeks ago, John Lind had asked for permission
to send a late entry, for which I granted him permission. Then, during the
time of the final updates, I had heard nothing from him, so I assumed he was
taking a raincheck on TOPE 7. Yet, shortly after having formally closed TOPE
7, John informed me that he had been on the road and was back on-line again,
and would still like to participate in TOPE 7.
Sooooo, as I had indeed granted him permission beforehand, I just sent his
submission to the gallery. Make sure not to miss it, for it's yet another
great John-special!
It can be found at: http://www.millennics.com/olympus/tope/
Cheers!
